A Testimonial: "After taking Jayne Morgan's 'Acting Freedom' class, I now have
many more tools for approaching the work of cold readings, auditions and
character development. Jayne's feedback is always precise and invaluable, while
giving each student new places to explore within a scene or exercise.
Her ability to pinpoint choices, habits, strengths and
weaknesses in an actor's work is unparalleled, as is her gift of helping each
student get 'real'. I am very thankful to have the opportunity to study with
such a talented actor and teacher, and I highly recommend her class to anyone
interested in sharpening their skills in the craft of acting."

ARE YOU READY TO TAKE A RISK?
My philosophy is: whatever works. I’m interested in preparing you to walk into any audition with greater confidence; to understand your own strengths and turn your weaknesses into assets. In other words, you won’t be asked to roll around on the floor pretending to be a resentful pumpkin unless I’m convinced it has some real-world value. I’m asking you to walk into class with an open mind. I was once an actor with strong opinions about what kind of exercises would work for me and what was a waste of time. Years later, I can tell you, I was wrong. It’s impossible to know whether an exercise or scene will blow you wide open until you throw yourself into it. I wish I had learned that lesson earlier than I did. But I was a stubborn, learn-the-hard way actor. If that describes you, we’re kindred spirits. But expect me to challenge you. This class will be a supportive place for you to challenge all your assumptions about acting.
Expect to work hard, but we’ll also have a lot of fun. I like to work intensely, so you get your money’s worth and see the value of committing to class work fully. At some point, I’d like to begin offering showcases for actors – inviting directors, agents and regional casting directors to see our work. But that’s a bit further down the road.
